Coming up with ideas is a process that benefits many different fields and is essential to creativity and problem-solving. We should schedule breaks in our regular routine and cultivate an inspiring environment in order to foster creativity. We can learn new ideas and broaden our viewpoints by engaging with a variety of events and literary, artistic, or musical works (Amabile & Khaire, 2008). We alternate between conscious and subconscious thought processes when we think in cycles. Because the brain needs time to finish absorbing the essential background information, pausing during these times might enhance creativity. Exercising, allowing one's thoughts to roam, and spending time in nature can all generate original ideas and startling realisations (Renton, 2021).

More original ideas can be produced when a designated area for creativity is present. To sum up, the process of generating ideas is deliberate and requires active participation. It's also crucial to push oneself beyond comfort zones and let thoughts flow when you're feeling stuck.

Cross-disciplinary thinking involves exploring connections between disparate fields to foster innovation and problem-solving. It encourages breaking down traditional silos and embracing diverse perspectives . By drawing insights from unrelated disciplines, individuals can spark creativity and discover novel solutions to complex problems (Wille, n.d.).

This approach promotes divergent thinking, allowing for the exploration of unconventional ideas and the identification of unexpected connections (Sage Journals, n.d.). Interdisciplinary collaboration drives advancements by leveraging expertise from various domains, leading to groundbreaking research and innovation .

Cross-disciplinary thinking enhances adaptability and resilience in a rapidly changing world, equipping individuals with versatile skills and perspectives (Laker, 2022). Embracing this mindset empowers individuals and organizations to tackle challenges from new angles and seize opportunities in dynamic environments (Forbes Business Council, 2023).

Overall, cross-disciplinary thinking is a powerful tool for driving positive change and unlocking new possibilities across diverse fields.

Good ideas form the backbone to innovation and progress in any field from a broad array of sources such as personal experiences, observations, networking, and research. Nevertheless, aggregating exciting new outlooks is not that simple a task.

Creativity and innovation, the two lords of the art. The path to find them is very much like going through the maze of mind in search of the lost treasure. Envision yourself as an exploration, with resources like mind mapping, lateral thinking, and SCAMPER method at hand, which is going to help you take a detour through your mind to disclose the gems of your inspiration from the darkened corners of your mind. Every way is like a compass, showing us the areas of our creativity and mental worlds.

Mind mapping is like a drawing of our thinking process, the ways of our thoughts moving like trails in the forest in the dense paths. Years ago thinking crosswise challenged us to deviate from the direct paths, hence, the unorthodox lane to frontal a position with unexpected resolutions. And SCAMPER? It looks like every piece becomes a puzzle waiting to be decoded. Once you see the picture, you realize that you have been looking at pieces that you can substitude, combine, adapt, modify, put into a different use, eliminate or reverse in order to give your ideas a fresh breath and turn them into ‘something new.

Genius often stems from a combination of knowledge and experience: Genius often stems from a combination of knowledge and experience: ( Pigola and Costa,2022) In

1. Depth of Understanding: Bigger picture would be the starting point so that the determination and specialization of specific problems can be identified, and both patterns and new solutions concepts could come to one's mind.

2. Connecting Dots: Expertise reveals combination and correlation of something that seems disparate is improbable. Fresh analysis is the results of such.

3. Problem-Solving Skills: Education and expertise breed clever, smart and critical people who are able to respond to issues adequately.

4. Iterative Process: Continual learning, trial-and-error, and alternative improvement have the tendency to boost a sphere of expertness and serve as the basis for brainstorms and innovations.

5. Cross-Disciplinary Insights: A wide set of knowledge exposures creates a foundation for applying learnings of one field to get better in the others improving interdisciplinary innovations.

6. Real-World Application: Expertise help us check the possible practical implementation of ideas, remove those that are not relevant, and only leave those that have an impact.

The two essential forces of progress - knowledge and experience - are the very bedrock of formulating ideas that are unique and leading the way ahead.( Ideascale ,2021)
